

Mimi Brown is an entertainment insider. Her work spans across the last decade and can be seen on networks such as ABC, FOX and BET to name a few. She began her career as a red carpet reporter for Us Weekly Magazine, where she covered everything from the Oscars to the Grammy Awards. From there she moved onto InTouch and Life&Style Magazine, where she continued her work as a red carpet reporter covering countless movie premieres and various award shows. At BET, Mimi covered press junkets for the network, as well as for the show, The Black Carpet. On one of the many red carpets Mimi’s covered, she met a cameraman who introduced her to the News Director at the local FOX affliate in Los Angeles. At FOX, Mimi produced two segments, the first; a lifestyle segment highlighting the latest in fashion, entertainment and fitness. The second, titled, Daily Candy Thursday’s, touched on a variery of events happening around the Los Angeles area for the upcoming weekend. As part of LA’s #1 morning show, Good Day LA, Mimi produced segments for Carol’s Daughter, Lucky and Self Magazine, Whowhatwear.com, Maybelline and L’Oreal, to name a few. Additionally, Mimi’s work as a reporter and a field producer has afforded her the opportunity to cover The Golden Globes, The Oscars, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, The Daytime Emmy Awards, and work as a commentator at various award shows. Most recently Mimi worked for ABC’s Good Morning America applying her detailed approach to current events and hot topics. Mimi is currently managing her own production company, Doll’d Up Productions where she completes the entire production process for news and media outlets from writing, editing to filming. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University and a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University. Mimi is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and originally from Anchorage, AK.
